Hunter Equestrian Center is nestled in the foothills between Rancho Santa Fe and Escondido in a small community known as Eden Valley. The stable, which is now 15 acres, is not located along any major streets and is very quiet at all times – it is an ideal place for training horses of all levels and ages. The facility is located just minutes from Daley Ranch and other dedicated riding parks.
Every aspect of Hunter Equestrian Center, from the extravagant amenities and overall design to the ranch’s Rules and Regulations, were created to ensure each rider’s entire equine experience is complete. The owners, staff, contractors, and management support the goals of the trainers, students and horses on the premises.
Features of the stable include:
- Breezeway barn (mahogany throughout), 30 indoor stalls, rubber pavers on 16 ft aisles including X-large tackroom, private lockers, hot/cold water, and laundry facilities
- Full Dressage Court with new footing
- Half Dressage Court with new footing
- Large jumping arena – 170’ x 200’
- Small lesson arena – 90’ x 150’
- Two additional jumping arenas will be added in 2008
- Two Large Grand Prix fields will be added in 2008
- Two Centaur Equicizers – four and five horse
- Round pen – 60’ diameter with new footing
- Five turnouts – 30’ x 50’
- Fully covered corrals – 12’ x 24’ 6 rail
- Partially Covered corrals – 12’ x 24’ 6 rail (2/3rds covered)
- All cross-ties fully covered and shaded
- Three large wash racks
- Three X-Large tack rooms
- One acre picnic/grass area
- Four feed/supplement rooms
